MARK F. TOLLEY
Managing Partner

Mr. Mark Tolley formed B. Knightly Development & Construction in 2006 after relocating to Austin, TX from Long Beach, CA.  Upon his arrival in Austin he began the re-development of what is now Town Lake Village, a successfully completed 74 unit condominium project.  He is currently working on the Lone Star Brewery, a mixed-use development on 23 acres in San Antonio, TX, and Mill Falls, a 31 unit multi-family riverfront project in New Braunfels, TX.  The project has released 51 residential units in Phase 1 (45 sold to date) with an additional 120 units worth of adaptive reuse space planned.

Prior to forming B. Knightly Development & Construction, Mr. Tolley was co-founder and Managing Partner of Urban Pacific Builders of Long Beach, CA.  As partner of UBP (founded in 1999), Mr. Tolley’s responsibilities included land acquisitions, market analysis, project feasibility studies, bank and investor cash flow analysis, investor relations, land planning, architectural design, construction supervision, and sales/marketing management.

Mr. Tolley has specialized in Western United States real estate investment and construction for 21 years, with additional national experience in portfolio acquisitions in the North East and Hawaiian markets.

Mr. Tolley attended Oxford University (England) and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California (Irvine).  Prior to his seven year tenure at UPB, Mr. Tolley was V.P. of Acquisitions at Regis Homes, and Director of Acquisitions at Pacific Heritage Development.  Over the course of his career, Mr. Tolley has worked with institutional private investors from across the nation.  Over the past 7 years, he has been responsible for the acquisition, development, and sale of over 4,000 residential units in California, Texas, and Oregon.

Mr. Tolley is an active member of the Austin and Southern California Home Building Industry association, a member of the Pacific coast Builder Show (PCBC) Program Committee, and a licensed member of the Texas Residential Construction Commission.
